심곡천(深谷川)/홍영수

어둠의 벽을 걷어내고

별빛 한 모금으로 목을 헹군 심곡천

활짝 핀 꽃술이 등(燈)을 밝히고

여울목 물꽃은 환히 웃는다.

달의 모서리가

물고기 지느러미에 잘리는 저녁

은빛 물비늘은

상처 입은 기억의 파편들을 지우고

나울나울한 잔물결이

돌 틈에서 갓 핀 꽃향기에 멀미할 때

냇가를 걷는 길벗들은

피라미 눈망울에서 달빛을 건져 올린다.

시름에 겨워 지새는

샛별 그림자 아래

냇가의 이슬방울은

무젖은 풀잎을 입에 물고

영롱한 순결로 아롱진다.

 

 

The Symgok Stream

As the wall of darkness has been torn down,

the stream gargles its throat with a mouthfulof srarlight.

The sramens of broad-blown flowers glow like lamps,

and water-flowers nearby give a bright smile.

In the evening, the edge of the moon

is cut by fins of fish.

Shining silver wavelets

erase fragments of wounded memories.

The ripples feel dizzy by the fragrance.

of flowers fresh-blown between the stones,

Then my fellows, walking by the stream.

scoop up the moonlight out of minnow eyes.

The shadow of the morning star, full of worries,

doesn’t have a sleep at night.

Dewdrops along the stream

sparkle and show crystal purity

With wet grasses in the mouth.
